New international course in Morocco on the future of port cities by the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Port City Futures.
How can port cities leverage their rich heritage and strategic position to build a sustainable and inclusive future?
The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Port City Futures is organising a new five-day course in Rabat, Morocco. During this intensive workshop, professionals from various disciplines will examine the complex balance between vibrant urban development and the dynamics of global port activities.
Key questions include:
-How can we create resilient port cities that are ready for the next 30 to 50 years?
-Which strategies combine economic growth with social cohesion and environmental responsibility?
-Using a values-based approach, participants develop hands-on strategies and tools for future-proof, multifunctional port areas – where city and port flourish together.
