Starting your master thesis? Make real impact with your thesis by joining an LDE Thesis lab! Work in a team of students from all three universities on a wicked challenge, set by external organisations. Learn to deal with other perspectives, diversity and complexity.
You work on your individual master thesis based on the challenge. You join the extracurricular program with workshops, enrichment sessions and excursions to unravel the complexity of the system and identify patterns that can contribute to tackling the challenge. You meet professionals, academic experts and societal partners. In collaboration with other motivated students you contribute to a common, interdisciplinary result with real impact.

The Hague Southwest Thesis Project
The Hague Southwest Thesis Project will be organized by the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity. It is an educational platform where various master's students from Leiden University, TU Delft, and Erasmus Rotterdam conduct research from various disciplines in response to formulated practice-based challenges by, among others, the municipality of The Hague, projects in The Hague Southwest and its residents.
Onderzoeksatelier Leren met de Stad (ULEI)
Leren met de Stad is een Leidse onderwijsinnovatie en een samenwerking tussen hogeschool, universiteit, mbo, gemeente en maatschappelijke organisaties. In samenspraak met bewoners en professionals gaan studenten aan de slag met urgente vraagstukken uit de stad.
Learning Communities (TU Delft)
Door werken, leren en innoveren met elkaar te verbinden, circuleert kennis sneller en kunnen nieuwe inzichten direct toegepast worden binnen het bedrijf. Deze positieve terugkoppeling kan enorm bijdragen aan het versnellen van innovatie en de toepassing van deze innovatie in een bedrijfsomgeving.
