The LDE Centre Indonesia represents a strategic collaboration between Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities and leading Indonesian partners. The strategic partnership with five leading universities in Indonesia in the form of a consortium, is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (previously Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. With its base in Jakarta, the Centre facilitates research, education, knowledge exchange and societal engagement, focusing on Indonesia’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges. Activities include joint PhD programs, field-based education such as the Future Challenges Lab, and inter-university consortia such as INUCoST.
