Let’s Talk! A new series by LDE Centre for Sustainability

We’re thrilled to share the program for our upcoming Talks series! In the weeks leading up to summer, we’ll be joined by five experts from both academia and industry, sharing their work and insights on circularity in various sectors. Major retailers will discuss the challenges and opportunities they’ve faced in developing repair and second-hand businesses. We’ll take a deep dive into the global plastic waste trade and its environmental impact, and explore how reimagining plastic packaging can help reduce that waste. Finally, we’ll gain valuable perspectives on the complex task of designing circular aircraft structures.

Our Talks serve as a platform for researchers from Leiden, Delft, and Erasmus universities. It focusing on topics around resource use, resilience, responsible and sustainable supply chains, material technology and product design, transition management and governance circularity.

The goal is to share knowledge across Leiden, Delft, and Erasmus and to complement and deepen the knowledge already available within our network. The Talks are organized on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00. and take place online (Microsoft Teams). The presentation takes about 25 minutes and will be followed by some questions/discussion.
