Medical Delta is the medical-technological consortium of the three universities, the Erasmus MC, and the Leiden University Medical Centre, as well as public-sector bodies and businesses.
The Holland Particle Therapy Centre (HollandPTC) is to become the first proton clinic in the Netherlands. HollandPTC is an initiative of a consortium consisting of LUMC, Erasmus MC, and TU Delft.

Medical Delta plays an important part in EIT Health, which is also a Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) of the European Institute for Innovation & Technology. It encompasses 140 partners from fourteen EU countries. This Knowledge and Innovation Community is developing a single joint strategy for safeguarding healthcare and well-being in Europe for the long term.
