10 Years of Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity: Reflection and Future Directions
To mark the ten-year anniversary of the LDE Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD), we warmly invite you to a conference dedicated to reflecting on the past, present, and future of migration and diversity governance.
The conference will explore pressing academic and societal debates on governance, inclusion, citizenship, and the role of knowledge production in this evolving field. In an era of growing polarization and contestation, we aim to engage with questions of methodological innovation, social impact, and the positioning of the field in both academic and public arenas.
We will also reflect on the role of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Governance of Migration and Diversity Centre itself: what has been achieved, and what directions should we pursue moving forward? Roundtable discussions with students, alumni, practitioners, community representatives, and international partners will provide space to explore the centre’s societal relevance and global engagement.
The langualge spoken at the conference is English. Admission is free, but please reserve a place in advance. We look forward to welcoming you for a day of critical exchange and collective future thinking.
