
Taking a course at another university in South Holland? You can! Starting this semester, Erasmus University College welcomes a number of students from Leiden University College to its courses and vice versa.
The collaboration was announced at the beginning of this year by Giles Scott-Smith, Dean of University College Leiden and Matthew Harvey, director of Erasmus University College.

Scott-Smith: 'We are delighted with the closer collaboration with Erasmus University College in Rotterdam. This initiative marks the beginning of a partnership that is intended to further enrich and expand the interdisciplinary education and academic experience of our students.'

Choose from a wide range
This is the beginning of a closer collaboration between the two university colleges, building on the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus collaboration that has existed since 2012. Students could already take minors together; Taking courses is a new step in educational cooperation. This will increase the range from which they can choose.

Liberal Arts & Sciences
University Colleges offer broad-based English-language bachelor's programmes under the heading of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The Colleges are often located at a special location off campus. Erasmus University College right in the center of Rotterdam, Leiden University College just behind The Hague Central Station.
