Which economic and historical factors have led to our throwaway society? And how can we restore a culture of repair? Founder Esther Smit shares the story of The Remake Society in Rotterdam, a hands-on practice lab that learns by doing, for example through pop-up Repair Ateliers. By creating jobs through repair, fostering social inclusion, and adding economic value, The Remake Society shows that it can be done. The programme also includes a lecture by Ellen Loots (Erasmus University Rotterdam) on entrepreneurship and creativity in circular sectors.

You are very welcome to join, however, places are limited, as partners of the Repair Lab have priority.
