Join BOLD Cities at the October meeting on big data for vulnerable urban groups

What is the potential of big data for urgent social issues in the city?

On 27 October, researchers of the Centre for BOLD Cities will present four projects which explore, each in their own way, if and how big data can improve the situation of urban youth, people on benefits and the working poor. The projects show extensive data linking and discuss the possibilities and limits of social media analytics for social questions. Ethical aspects regarding privacy, transparency and participation are an integral part of BOLD Cities research.

The Centre for BOLD Cities collaborates closely with the municipalities of Rotterdam and The Hague, and Statistics Netherlands (CBS). The Knowledge Lab Urban Big Data is a co-host of this meeting, which will be held as a side event at the Accenture Innovation Awards.

You can register for the event via the online form.
