With the start of the new academic year the first students started the [bachelor Clinical Technology]. From more than 250 entries 100 talented students are selected. This new training at the interface of medicine and technology is the first fully joint bachelor of TU Delft, Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, plus the Leiden University Medical Centre and the Erasmus MC. Education is up to college level multidisciplinary: thermodynamics combined into one lesson with digestive organs and mechanics with the musculoskeletal system, says Professor Frans van der Helm in this movie of his inaugural lecture as Professor of Medical Delta.
